The Women's Empowerment Fund was established to support our 12 women's varsity programs and the individuals associated with Babson's women's athletics. We are committed to providing the best experience for our female student-athletes both today and into the future. Funds raised through the Women's Empowerment Fund will continue to enhance each women's program, including:
- Increasing operational budgets, allowing for increased travel for recruiting and out-of-region competitions
- Sponsoring events for current and former female student-athletes (e.g. networking events, speaker series)
- Supporting professional development opportunities for female student-athletes pursuing careers in sports
Gifts to the Athletics Excellence Fund provide critical resources that enable the programs of Babson Athletics to be successful. Thanks to generous annual support to the Athletics Excellence Fund, Babson offers 23 varsity programs to more than 350 student-athletes, supports more than a dozen club sports teams, and provides robust intramural and recreational programming opportunities to the entire Babson community.
The Athletics Excellence Fund infuses resources that help to elevate and differentiate the Babson Athletics experience for our student-athletes. Contributions go toward those things that make the Babson experience unique in Division III, including:
- Student-athlete refueling station ($20,000)
- Programming costs for SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) ($5,000)
- Out-of-conference team and tournament travel
- Nutritional resources
- Additional coaching positions and professional staff training
- Professional development seminars
- Leadership training
- Guest speakers from the business and sports community
- Counseling and other mental health support for our student-athletes

More than $26,000 in challenge and match funds are available throughout the Barefoot Athletics Challenge. Your donation can help unlock additional funds for Babson Athletics.
🎉 Donor Incentives:
When you make a gift of $150 or more you can select a Babson Athletics beach towel as a token of our appreciation. With a gift of $500 or more you can choose the beach towel or a Babson Athletics Quarter zip.
📣 Advocate Incentives:
Sign up to be an “advocate” for your team and encourage others to donate via text, email and/or social media! The more donations you bring in, the more Babson swag items you will receive! Use our advocate playbook to help you spread the word!
