Black Affinity Network
Support the Babson Black Affinity Network Leadership Retreat!

Launched in September of 2008, the Babson Black Affinity Network is an ecosystem created to foster awareness, access, and accountability around issues of equity and inclusion. BAN partnered with Babson in 2016 to allow more collaboration among black alumni, students, staff and friends of the college. One such collaboration is our annual Leadership Retreat.

Every year, Black Affinity Network student leaders are identified and asked to join us for a weekend of professional development in a different city. Because of your generous support, the Black Affinity Network has been able to provide food, board, and transportation for more than 50 students during each of the previous retreats in DC, Atlanta and Chicago. Due to Covid, our 2020 Leadership had to be virtual.

Our next retreat will be in Miami June 18-20th, 2021. Please save the date in case you want to join us. In an effort to expand BAN ecosystems, this event will include a Black Wall Street Expo on Juneteenth.

Let’s keep the momentum going. If you are looking for a worthy cause, please consider sponsoring a student. Each retreat is a unique experience for students to bond with alumni, staff, other students and people in the local community. Attendees get glimpses into the lives and careers of professionals that can help inform their path forward. Your designated gift can change someone’s life.
