Support Babson's premier entrepreneurship living community!
Founded in 2001, eTower has helped hundreds of Babson students to grow their entrepreneurial skills and build their own ventures. Through the years, eTower alumni have built companies that, together, are worth more than $2.5 billion dollars.
Each one of our residents are founders of their own startups or are working towards becoming one. eTower companies represent industries such as tech, food and beverage, fashion, marketplace, among many others. Additionally, we host weekly events for the entire Babson community.
In Fall 2020, eTower will be operating in a virtual format. We have 15 residents living in our space on campus and an additional 10 who are remote. That said, our goal remains the same: offer support for our residents to develop entrepreneurial skills and build their ventures.
This year we'll be continuing three initiatives in an effort to build eTower, despite challenges relating to the pandemic.
- eTower Seed Fund: This fund provides founders with an equity-free grant of up to $1,500 to grow their business. Our goal is to ensure sure that each resident has the ability to overcome early financial barriers when starting their business. Past expenses include development and design costs, product testing, and legal entity setup.
- eTower Professional Accelerator Fund: This fund provides founders with financial support to build their own skills and networks. Our goal is to offer up to $250 to each one of our 25 residents to attend virtual conferences, take classes, and attend events.
- eTower Community Building: This initiative aims to build community within eTower. We pride ourselves on creating a tight-knit community built upon help, support, and peer-to-peer guidance. During each semester, we plan a variety of events for our residents to encourage bonding and team building.
eTower is the first ever student-led organization to provide opportunities like these. However, we cannot do it without your help. eTower is on a mission to raise $15,000 in order to execute these initiatives in Fall 2020 and beyond.
