Service and Justice Programs
Support Babson Service and Justice Programs!

Service and Justice coordinates volunteer and community-service activities with various local and national community-service agencies. We strive to graduate socially responsible and civically engaged individuals who recognize that they play a role in giving back to the community and can solve global social-justice issues in an innovative way. With your support, you will help to make sure Service and Justice Programs continue!

Natalie Taylor Scholar Program

The goal of the Natalie Taylor Scholar Program is to formally engage students in service experiences embedded in their academic and co-curricular experiences. The program was created to recognize and reward community and civic engagement and will distinguish students who have committed themselves to service, community engagement, and social responsibility.

Students who successfully meet the required criteria will receive distinction upon graduation.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)

VITA engages 36 students trained and certified to do taxes for low income community members. This year we plan to increase the number of students engaged  to 50 plus and run programs Monday through Saturday completely remote during tax season.

Community Action Program

The Community Action Program (CAP) is a student employment opportunity for students eligible for federal work-study programs to perform, and be paid for, community service throughout the academic year. These students gain experience at an agency while obtaining a greater sense of societal issues and what can be done to help.

Service Immersion

The purpose of service immersion is to provide Babson students with opportunities to engage in intensive service experiences with communities in need, and through reflective activities, promote civic engagement, leadership development, and appreciation of diversity.  These experiential learning opportunities help students develop a sense of personal identity and community, as well as an understanding of important societal issues, while helping others who are in need of assistance. Service immersion can be a very rewarding, and sometimes, life-changing experiences.

President's Challenge
To motivate and inspire the Babson community to be bold and give generously, President Stephen Spinelli Jr. MBA’92, PhD and his wife Carol have offered a challenge. When we reach 2,020 donors on September 17, they will personally donate $100,000 to the College.
