Creativity and innovation have long been hallmarks of Babson College’s focus on entrepreneurship, and the arts provide a space to explore the in​tersection of creative vision and entrepreneurial thought. Here at BabsonARTS, we always have a full sl​ate of engaging performances, ​exhibitions, films, and conversations. Our mission is to both serve the educational needs of students and enhance Babson’s reputation as an institution that values innovation and creativity. 


·Guest artists, speakers, and productions that are invited to campus by BabsonARTS to further support Babson’s educational mission and tie to key Babson themes of globalism, social responsibility, and entrepreneurialism


Student-run performances and exhibitions that give students the opportunity to find self-expression and build capabilities in the areas of teamwork, performance skills, visual literacy, and project management

Student Arts Organizations
Student-run arts activities give students the opportunity to plan, manage, and perform in shows of their choosing, taking advantage of Babson’s professional artists, technical staff, and state-of-the-art facilities.

The Empty Space Theater (TEST) is an on-campus theater organization founded by Babson faculty members in the Arts and Humanities and History and Society divisions.


The Babson Players is the oldest and only student-run theater organization on campus. The players produce two student-selected shows each year typically a fall comedy and spring musical, as well as offer a variety of other performing arts opportunities.


The Rocket Pitches is an audition-based a capella group at Babson College, consisting of male and female singers. They perform current/popular pop songs at various events, and host a spring recital at the end of March. The Rocket Pitches brings together singers at Babson College who enjoy performing and sharing their vocal abilities. 


Babson Asian Pacific Student Association (BAPSA) produces East Meets West, a cultural showcase of dance, music, and performances on stage at the Carling-Sorenson Theater during the Spring semester.


Babson Dance Ensemble (BDE) is a student dance organization that produces a dance concert in early December and a spring concert in April.

President's Challenge
To motivate and inspire the Babson community to be bold and give generously, President Stephen Spinelli Jr. MBA’92, PhD and his wife Carol have offered a challenge. When we reach 2,020 donors on September 17, they will personally donate $100,000 to the College.
