DIRI seeks support to implement this policy brief micro campaign over a 1-month period.
Our goal is to raise $9,000 to support the development of three policy briefs.
1. Capital Access
More than a decade after our team helped identify the gender gap in venture capital, financing remains one of the most persistent—and misunderstood—barriers facing women entrepreneurs. This brief will provide policymakers with a clearer picture of how women entrepreneurs are actually financed in the U.S.
2. High-growth Women-led Ventures
Too often, women entrepreneurs are treated as a single group. GEM data allow us to identify women building ventures designed to scale, innovate, and create jobs—ensuring high-potential founders are visible in policy and supported accordingly.
3. Digitalization
Digital tools can expand opportunity—but only when ecosystems enable adoption. This brief examines how digital transformation can work for women entrepreneurs, not around them.
