When you think back to your favorite Babson memories, some aspect of student life โ life outside the classroom โ probably comes to mind. But every year, some Babson students are held back from participating. In her many roles, Carol Hacker helped countless students secure the necessary funding to go out and be an active member of the campus community. You can be Carol Hacker to the next generation of students by supporting the newly created Carol Hacker Endowed Student Life Fund. (And who doesn't want to be like Carol ๐?)
This fund will provide financial support for undergraduate students to participate in approved co-curricular, social, and engagement activities. Babson students can apply directly for funding or faculty and staff can help identify and nominate deserving students. Generally, the fund is intended to support deserving students with limited financial means. However, an awarded student does not have to qualify for a specific financial aid or need level.
Through this fund, Carol's legacy will live on, as will the care and concern she showed to Babson students and alumni for 30+ years โ all while she's happily enjoying retired life. Thanks to you, no student will have to skip those major campus moments like enjoying senior week, meeting lifelong friends in your fraternity or sorority, or trying a club sport (and having a blast even though you may have been absolutely terrible)! Help make Carol's legacy last well into the future!
